![]() How can I have the Z: drive be accessible in the 'Load Hive' process?Ī while ago, on post no.46, LPCapital mentioned that ERD Commander is not necessary to get around this issue in Windows 7(as below) but I can't proceed from No.3: Therefore, I am unable to properly make the 'BASE31' folder. Upto page 7 with setting up Drive Z: to open in Windows Explorer after mapping, all goes well, but from page 8, in Registry Editor, I click 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE' so that within the File menu 'Load Hive' can be selected, but I cannot 'Browse to the file 'Z:\Windows\System32\Config\Software', because the pop-up directory window does not acknowledge the Z: drive, although if I open 'Computer' the Z: drive is showing(can't be accessed though). On a Windows 7 setup, via VMware I'm trying to install Progman using the 'How to install SSS/Progman' instructions. I've got INPA, Tool32, EDIABAS, DIS V57(with EasyDIS base - thanks to DavidMC) setup, and now trying to setup Progman. This is actually a copy, because the original thread( ‘The files to an EasyDIS\GT1 machine!’) is too long.įirst, thank you MaikelK.
